About us
Misori Japuonj Foundation was established and registered in Kenya on 30th January 2019 with the Ministry of Interior and Co-Ordination of national Government under section 10 of the Non-Governmental co-ordination Act as applied for, with the aim of improving livelihood in Kenya through promotion of access to Education, water and sanitation, mitigate impact of climate change, mitigate the effects of HIV/AIDS and Drug/Substance abuse, nurture talent through sports and participate in Advocacy & Conflict resolution activities.
The founder is an Educationist and a trade Unionist with vast experience in leadership and management of education in Kenya and Africa. The desire to touch and change lives for a better society has been key to the set up of the foundation. His belief that education being key in society transformation and having been a teacher at the forefront advocating for rights of every citizen in the society and lobbying for legislations which promote basic human rights and dignity, its his intention to ensuring that the Foundation working with Partners delivers on the Vision, Mission and objectivies set.
We believe in the power of the youth, women and children and strive to ensure opportunities are availed to these groups to help realize their full potential and positively help in transforming our societies.
We aim at transforming lives through impactful community investments in the following areas Education, Health, Water and Sanitation, Environment/Climate change, Nurture talents through sports and Peace & Conflict resolution initiatives.
To build a global community where quality education, environmental conservation, healthcare, clean water, sanitation, sports and peace-building take centre stage in addressing human challenges and promoting a happier society.
