Misori Japuonj Foundation was established and registered in Kenya on 30th January 2019 by Mr. Maurice .T. Akelo Misori, an Educationist and a trade Unionist with vast experience in leadership and management in education sector in Kenya, across Africa and globally. Driven by a deep desire to positively impact and improve society, particularly through education, he has actively championed the rights of all citizen and advocate for legislations that uphold basic human rights and dignity by promoting access to Education, water and sanitation, mitigating impact of climate change, mitigating the Health - HIV/AIDS and Drug/Substance abuse, nurture talent through sports and participate in Right Advocacy & Conflict resolution activities.
The foundations aims at developing strategic alliances and partnership while fostering community engagements to not only identify needy areas of assistance but also pool adequate resources for the implementation of various programmes.
